The Fifth Law

Montanachic’s 5th Law of Sewing Nature-  When sewing on a zipper the first time the sewist will do one or all of the following,  incorrectly align the top of the garment, sew the zipper off center or catch extra bits of fabric on the underside.  After the zipper is painstakingly unpicked and resewn by the sewist he/she will realize he/she forgot to make the last minute waist adjustments that now have a perfect zipper very thoroughly sewn to them.

Ahhhhh, my seam ripper is my best friend tonight unfortunately 😦

    As ye sew- so shall ye rip.

    @prtty… groan! 🙂

    This is so me with the pants formerly known as Clovers. I’m frozen trying to decide whether I can bear to rip my hand-picked lapped zipper, or if there’s some way to salvage it…
